1. Introduction 
   
   'Soulmades' is a service name of Soulmades Pty Ltd. Soulmades is an online service for adults seeking contacts with other adults (further referred to as 'Soulmades'). Soulmades' website is www.soulmades.com.au (further referred to as 'Site').
   
   This statement sets out Soulmades policies regarding collection and use of your personal information. These policies constitute an addition to Soulmades Terms of Use and should be read in conjunction with such Terms of Use.
   
   
2. Information collection and use 
   
   Soulmades is the sole owner of the information collected on this web site. Soulmades will only share your information with outside parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement or if Soulmades is required to do so by law, on official request of law enforcement agencies, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law.
   
   Whenever a user visits our site, our servers automatically record information about the usage of the web site such as the time of the visit, its duration and the pages, which have been visited. This information helps us to understand what parts of our web site the users enjoy most, and to improve our marketing efforts.
   
   
3. Membership 
   
   Soulmades uses a membership system (further referred to as 'Membership'), designed to offer its users a rewarding and personalized user experience. To become a Member, users are required to register with Soulmades, and provide some personal information such as their email addresses. This information is not disclosed to other Members.
   
   The Members are also required to submit their personal profiles by answering standard questions. Personal profiles are available for viewing by other members. Members may also elect to post their personal photos along with their personal profiles. Posting a photo along with a personal profile is not required, and is done completely at the Member's discretion. Members posting their photos should understand that posting a photo may lead to their identification.
   
   Access to the Member's account requires the use of a 'user name', which is openly displayed in the Member's profile for other users to see. User names are unique and selected by Members when they register. The users are also selecting a password, which works in combination with this particular user name, thus providing confidentiality of access to the user's account at Soulmades. To access a Members account on the Site, the person should know both the user name and the password and use them as a pair. This operation is known as 'logging in'. The Members can also access their accounts on the Site through the links in the emails sent to them by Soulmades, which will provide automatic login to the Site. Thus, members must be cautious to maintain confidentiality of access to their email addresses they use on Soulmades.
   
   Once a user has logged in as a Member, Soulmades will keep a record of the Member's use of the Site. This information helps us to build a profile of users' interests, so that we can personalize their experience of the Soulmades' Site and present them with information that is relevant to their interests. 
   
   Soulmades will collect demographic information provided by its Members in their personal profiles. This aggregated demographic information is used for the purposes of general research and analysis, and to learn more about the people using Soulmades to better target our marketing efforts.
   
   The information provided by users in their profiles is also used to find the most compatible matches for them through the use of the Soulmades' search engine. The use of the information from user's profiles is necessary to provide the service of Soulmades' search engine, which is performed by software, without human interaction.
   
   Soulmades will contact Members in regard to their membership on the Site using the email addresses they have submitted during registration. The Members have to confirm their email addresses by clicking on the link in the email message sent by Soulmades after the Member has registered on the Site. Only Members who confirmed their email addresses may enjoy Membership privileges and communicate with other Members. Members may terminate their Membership with Soulmades at any time, thus discontinuing any further communication from Soulmades.
   
   Soulmades may share aggregated demographic and usability information with outside parties. No personal information will be shared.
   
   
4. Contacting Soulmades 
   
   Users can use "Contact" page to contact Soulmades directly with any questions or comments they may have via the Help Desk on the Site. In the Help Desk form, users are required to provide their contact and/or membership information that is necessary to answer their requests.    Soulmades will use the Member's confirmed email address to send newsletters with updates regarding the Soulmades' service. The Member may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time through the corresponding link on the Home Page of their Member's account. An unsubscribe link appears at the end of each newsletter. Soulmades may also send its Members offers regarding the products and services of its partners. Members may terminate their Membership with Soulmades at any time, thus discontinuing any further communication from Soulmades.

   Soulmades' web site uses cookies. This is used to administer the Site and provide Soulmades' users a personalized customer experience.
